"We approached NOX as both fans and marketers from the kick-off and feel that the final product reflects that enthusiasm. The Design Aesthetic is about the beauty and emotion of sound and how important that is in enhancing your day to day life. We hope that this recognition is because the site and viral not only make you smile, but in the end, help build the consumer base to drive sales. Convincing early adopters to buy in an overly-saturated marketplace is a big ask in this economy. We designed an intuitive, clear and engaging user experience that’s aesthetically pleasing without overwhelming the eye, while leveraging the versatility of the design to showcase the functionality of the product and demonstrate it’s benefits. PETROL created an eye-popping green-screen viral video that effectively telegraphs the “lifestyle” vibe of the NOX product line. By infusing the awe of pop-n-lock dance, rich 3-D graphics and hand-drawn animation, it’s unlike anything currently on the web. We produced the video you see on the site 100% in-house from script writing and set building through illustration, motion graphics and post production as we captured people using the product in different scenarios to help educate and entertain. With a running time of almost 2 minutes, the video has also become a multi-media tool that’s being used at tradeshows as well as in streaming rich-media ads. PETROL concepted an overall site that gives the impression of an already-established brand adding to the legitimacy of its new market presence. This carried through the site from initial interaction through ecommerce with robust functionality you’d similarly find on top retail sites.” - Alan Hunter
